He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley High Mason and Dalton Aaron Mason, Sr.; and his brothers, Wayne, Alton and Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Mayse Mason (Edmonds); his children, Cheyenne Mason Ross (Thomas), Johnny Mason Jr. (Laura), Clinton Edmonds (Billie) and Morgan Mayse (Malcolm); his grandchildren, Granger Ross, Annie Mason, Shelby Edmonds, Tana George (Dylan), Jordan Sims and Alexander Mayse; his great grandchild Evie George; and his siblings, Dalton Aaron Mason, Jr. (Carol), Randy White Mason, Melanie Mason Vaughn (Terry) and Judy Mason. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
