He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stokes and Jacqueline Stokes; and his nephew Hunter Stokes. He is survived by: his significant other Tamsy Hight Stokes; his son John III; his siblings, Gregg Stokes (Ginny) and Shirley Boyd (Andy); his niece Lindsay Stokes; and his nephew Kelvin Raper (Dana).
