He was predeceased by: his parents, John Talmage Johnson and Audrey Annie Johnson; and his son Darryl Scott Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Eubanks Johnson; his son Wayne Johnson (Traci) of Hampstead, NC; and his grandsons, Max Johnson and Sam Johnson.
