We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 75, James H. Ward Jr. of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Ward, Sr. and Ruby Standifer Ward; and his sister Charlotte Ann Bagwell of Greer, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith Ward; his sons, Eric S. Clark (Crystal) of Snow Hill, NC, Justin L. Ward of Birmingham, AL and Ryan L. Ward (Robyn) of Burlington, NC.; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn T. Clark and Makenzy R. Ward; his sister Phyllis Madasz of Sharon, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn D. Smith and Joyce C. Smith of Mebane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children.
