Burnette, Barry L. Brunette (Annette) and Kenneth E. Burnette (Bernadette); his stepson John Travis Crisp; his daughter Belinda A. Burnette; his stepdaughter Amanda VanHook; his siblings, Thomas E. Burnette (Susan) of Pittsboro, NC, Douglas E. Burnette (Charlene) of Durham, NC, Rev. Stanley V. Burnette (LaVerne) of Moncure, NC, Annie D. Edwards (Bobby) of Mebane, NC and Lucile Patterson of Chapel Hill, NC; his sister-in-law Maggie Burnette of Durham, NC; and his aunts, Ella M. Farrar of Brooklyn, NY, Marjorie B. James of Durham, NC and Carol B. Stewart of Pittsboro, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
