Meyer of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joan Meyer Heyd Morais and Joseph Meyer. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sandra Meyer; and his children, John Meyer of Miami and Christine Meyer Mazzone (Erik) of Raleigh.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church (940 Carmichael St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514). A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Club Center at Carolina Meadows Retirement Community (100 Whippoorwill Ln, Chapel Hill, NC 27517).
