He was predeceased by: his parents, John Seaton and Hattie Suitt Williams; his siblings, Nancy Williams Hundley and Charles "Buddy" Williams; his son-in-law Paul Atkins; and his grandson Bryan Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Williams of Chapel Hill, NC; his children, Teri Atkins of Durham, NC and Doug Williams (Claire Haslam); his grandson Chris Atkins (Sam Atkins); his great grandchild Brody Strange of Timberlake, NC; and his granddaughters, Meredith Holst (Trevor Holst) of Durham, NC and Kathleen Williams (Joel Rust) of Chapel Hill, NC..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:50 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (2106 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (2106 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Building Fund.
