He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jennings and Margaret Robertson Kitzmiller; and his sisters, Doris Fazzio of Greensboro, NC. and Helen Haithcock of Greensboro, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Carole Stemkowski; his children, David J. Kitzmiller, Jr. and Kim Kitzmiller Fehr (Chip Fehr) of Chapel Hill; his grandson Jack Fehr of Greenville, NC; his former wife Virginia Uzzle Kitzmiller of Chapel Hill; and his brother Tom Kitzmiller of Laurinburg, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As he considered store-bought flowers a phenomenal waste of hard-earned money, it is suggested that you donate to a charity of your choice, with leanings towards animal care organizations.
