He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Owens and Clara Owens Newson. He is survived by: his wife Candace "Candy" Owens (Ferguson); his son Benjamin "Ben" A. Owens; his siblings, Nancy O. Altobellis, Charlene O. Maguire, Christopher Owens and Lisa Owens; and his brother-in-law J. Daniel Ferguson (Elizabeth "Lib" Ferguson). He is also survived by many family members and friends.
