We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2020, at the age of 75, Consuelo Adriana Medina Pena (Chapel Hill, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Consuelo Oceania Peña of Medina and Francisco Medina Leyba; and her sister Carmelita Medina. She is survived by: her daughter Juliessa Pavon Ning (Tony Ning) of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Christopher and Adriana Ning; her siblings, Ana Medina, Rafael Medina (Celia) and Francisco Medina (Martina); and her nieces and nephews, Rafael Medina (Dana), Martin Medina (Ana Rosina), Carla Medina (Omar) and Carmelita Medina. She is also survived by 8 grand-nephews and nieces; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association, in Consuelo's name.
