It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Riggsbee Cook of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Wade Hampton Riggsbee and Eugenia Hearne Riggsbee; and her son-in-law Gary H. Williams. She is survived by: her significant other William Paul Cook; her daughter Paula Cook Williams Oakley (Tom); her grandchildren, Megan W. Stanford (Alex), Melyssa W. Daulton (Seth), Jeffrey F. Williams (Mackenzie), Joshua P. Oakley (Hannah) and Sean T. Oakley; her great grandchildren, William, Hunter, Collins Stanford, Andrew and Kane Daulton; and her friend Juliaette Reynolds.
