She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Bennett and Louise Bennett; and her husband Harris Sturgess, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Dan Lee of Chapel Hill, Jim Lee (Nicole) of South Carolina and Rebecca Sowers (Ron) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Nicholas Clark of Bunn, NC, Hunter Lee (Britton) and Savannah Lee of South Carolina; and her great grandchild Ezra Lee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Carolyn.
