Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betsey Ann Cutler (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 84, on January 23, 2025. Though Betsey Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betsey Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Schaap and Pauline Schaap; her brother Bertram Schaap; and her husband Leonard "Len" Cutler. She is survived by: her children, Henry Cutler (Kyoko) and Anne Cutler Runyan (David); and her grandchildren, Pascal, Pia Cutler, Stella and Griffin Runyan.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Judea Reform Congregation Cemetery (2560 Jones Ferry Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).
