It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Burns Moran (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Burns Moran to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burns and Joan Burns. She is survived by: her husband Joseph J. Moran; her son Michael Moran of Asheville; her grandchildren, Jacob and Katherine; her son Brian Moran of Asheville; her grandchildren, Madison and Molly; and her siblings, Patricia B. Taft, Susan B. Borders and Robert H. Burns. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral arrangements with Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill are limited because of the covid-19 pandemic. The time and date for her funeral Mass at the Newman Center will be forth coming as the pandemic is resolved.
