She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herring of Chadbourn and Eunice Williamson Herring Ivey of Lumberton; her stepfather Elwood Ivey; and her brother Eugene Herring. She is survived by: her husband Willard Callihan, Sr.; her daughters, Sherry Rice Jolly (Ricky) of Lumberton and Tammy Rice Britt of Lumberton; her stepchildren, Willard Callihan, Jr. (Michele), Christopher Mark Callihan (Shane) of Wilmington, NC and Allison Callihan Kontz; her grandchildren, Evan Rice, Casey Mercer, Hailey Britt (Nathan Sanderson) and Issac Britt; her stepgrandchildren, Alex Callihan and Kayla Kontz; her great grandchildren, Landon Sanderson and Briella Sanderson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Myra, Julian, Izzy, Gabby, Gracie, Ellie, Alex and Jack; and her brothers, James Herring, Jr. of Whiteville, Kenneth Ivey of Raleigh, Elwood "Chip" Ivey of Lumberton and Dennis Ivey of Lumberton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 2042 US-701 Hwy, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Pinecrest Cemetery's. Main.
