He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Shelton and Mattie Godwin McPherson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda N. McPherson; his children, Joey Delane McPherson (Chris) of Chadbourn, NC, Craig McPherson (Rose) of Chadbourn, NC and Amy McPherson Fowler of Chadbourn, NC; his brother Ben Shelton McPherson of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Sunni McPherson, Joshua Craig McPherson, Jessie Faulk, Roy McPherson, Justin McPherson, Emma Cidello, Macelan McPherson and Anna Fowler; and his great grandchildren, Shelt McPherson, Kynlee Jo Faulk and Briar Delane McPherson.
