He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son-in-law Bryan Hilbourn; his grandchildren, Joseph Nance, Lauren Hilbourn, Carmen Hilbourn, Cole Hilbourn, Avery Tuttle, Mason Howell and Haley Howell; his sister Ginny Honeycutt Buffkin; his parents, John Honeycutt, Jr. and Mary Loil Thompson Honeycutt; and his brother John Honeycutt, III.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery (6120 Chadbourn Hwy, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
