He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Ray Hinson; and his siblings, Agnes H. McPherson, Ruth Jean H. McPherson and Edgar Devon Hinson. He is survived by: his sons, Alvie Dale Hinson (Malinda) of Chadbourn, NC and Kevin Allen Hinson (Linda) of Tabor City, NC; his sisters, Hazel H. McPherson of Chadbourn, NC, Reba H. Newman of Whiteville, NC and Margie H. Izzo (Anthony) of Tar Heel, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah Dawn H. Hinshaw (Bayne), Isaac Hinson and Jacob Hinson; his great grandchildren, Beau Hinshaw and Nash Hinshaw; and his stepgrandchildren, Michael Jeramie Clemons, Brian Elbert Clemons and Melissa Lynn Clemons. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
