She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Pink Anderson and Ola Barefoot Anderson; her son Daniel O'Brian Porter; and her siblings, Mary Herring and William Eugene Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Wayne Porter of Brunswick, GA and Melissa Porter McPherson (Mark) of Chadbourn; her sisters, Betty Ward of Loris, SC and Helen Adams (Ron) of Trinity; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Porter, Samantha Moore (Brent), Amber Blackman (Daniel), Ashley O'Neal (Terrance), Nicholas Porter, Savannah Porter, Logan McPherson and Emily Porter. She is also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren.
