She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Pink Ward and Essie Gertrude Norris Ward; her husband Dr. George Walton Jr.; and her siblings, Willard Ward, Sam Pink "Pete" Ward, Eldred Waymon Ward, Evelyn Ward, Geraldine Ward and Edna Gertrude D'Onofrio.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Ray Royall (Lloyd) and Karen Sheila Walton; her grandsons, Clyde Wesley Stephenson, II of Dunn, James Michael Weber and Logan Tanner Stephenson (Anna Elizabeth) of Erwin; and her great grandchildren, Adalyn Elaine Weber, Grayson Ray Weber and Bentley Gray Stephenson of Erwin.
