She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Floyd and Earlie Lee Floyd; her husband Irvin Ray Hammond; and her brothers, Roy Edward Floyd, Kenneth Floyd and Noah Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Steven R. Hammond (Michelle) of Chadbourn and Amanda H. Philyaw (Joe) of Vale, NC; her siblings, Geneva F. Hall of Whiteville, Neil Floyd of Hallsboro, Mitchell Floyd (Reeda) of Floyd, Virginia and Doris Floyd Smith (Milton) of Pineville; and her grandchildren, Travis Rawls (Hayley), Ethan Hammond and Anna Rae Hammond.
