She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leon Tyree and Dallie Joyce Inman Tyree. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hayes Ransom; her son Jerry Lawrence Ransom (Heather); her grandchildren, Riley Hayes Ransom (Alicia) and Bailey Ransom Parker (Preston); her great grandchildren, James Hayes Parker, Madelynn Kay Ransom, Jack Preston Parker, Layley Anna Ransom, Kimble Meredith Parker and El Beth Parker; and her brother Freddy Tyree (Terry).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Mt. Calvary Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery (1584 Greens Mill Rd, Clarkton, NC 28433). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
