It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Mae Hinson of Chadbourn, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dewey Ellis and Agnes Marie Britt Ellis; her husband Charles Edward Hinson; her daughter Pandora Hinson; and her siblings, Gene Ellis, JD Ellis, Robert Ellis, Joseph Ellis, William "Bill" Ellis, Elouise Sellers and Frances Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Edwin Hinson (Amy) of Chadbourn and Carolyn Ann Powell (Randy) of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Pamela Miller, Bryan Powell (Amy), Andy Miller (Kelly), Jonathan Hinson (Fawn) and Tanner Hinson; her great grandchildren, Logan Miller, Cane Powell, Lilly Anna Miller, Sadie Miller and Nate Hinson; and her stepgrandchildren, Austin Gerald and Emily Rawls.
