He was predeceased by: his parents, Garcie Clifton and Cathleen Blackwell Nealy; his siblings, Jerry Nealey and Lucille Nealey; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Soles and Harold Dean Singletary.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Marie DeLong Nealy; his children, Tommecca Stevens (Bobby) of Chadbourn, Cathrine Nealy of Cerro Gordo, Shakora Lee (Nick) of Evergreen and Larry "Junior" Nealy of Bolivia; and his sisters, Doris Hulon (Jerry) of Whiteville, Jane Locklear (Roy) of Tabor City, Linda Soles of Bladenboro, Carol Singletary of Tabor City and Brenda Jernigan (Johnny) of Whiteville. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren.
