It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Gregory Hoover of Chadbourn, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Jasper and Juanita Mercer Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fluharty Hoover; his children, Joseph Gregory Hoover, Jr. (Tracy) of Clyo, GA, Christy Lynn Hoover of Holden Beach and Hannah Hoover Hinson (Lee) of Chadbourn; his sister Carol H. Stevens (Rudy) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Cynthia Anderson (Lars), Bradley Hoover, Andrew Hoover and Tripp Hinson; and his great grandchildren, Abbye, Elaina, Dalton and Ethan.
