It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Elliot of Chadbourn, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George Douglas Elliot and Dorothy Dick Elliot; and his daughter Jean Elliot. He is survived by: his wife Mickie Joyce Edwards Elliot; his daughter Georgia E. Blanton (Dale) of Wilmington; and his grandsons, Evan Alexander Blanton and Elliot Allen Blanton.
Memorials may be made to Chadbourn Presbyterian Church or to the Fair Bluff Historical Society.
