He is survived by: his daughter Melissa McPherson (Arthur) of Chadbourn, NC; his sisters, Nolie Bell Rushing of Rockingham, NC and Betsy Wayne Jackson of Charlotte, NC; his half-sisters, Mary Jane Smith of Hampstead, NC and Louvenia Stephens of Whiteville, NC; his grandchildren, David McPherson (Ashley), Gage McPherson (Morgan), Jami McPherson (Nathan) and Madi McPherson; his great grandchildren, Breelynn McPherson, Kinsleigh McPherson and Walker McPherson; and his former wife Faye Bryant.
