He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hartford Barnhill and Annie Mae Stewart Barnhill. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Yates Barnhill; his daughters, Lisa B. West of Chadbourn and Teresa Barnhill; his brothers, Edward Barnhill (Jeanette) of Whiteville and Wayne Barnhill (Mary) of Chadbourn; his grandchildren, Ken West (LaSande), Krystal Cartrette (James) and Katlin West (Justin); his great grandchildren, Taylor West, Ayden Lucas and Johnathan West; his aunt Mildred; and his uncle Lynwood Stephenson. He is also survived by 6 Nieces & Nephews, 10 Great-Nieces & Nephews, 3 Great-Great Nieces & Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to Lower Cape Fear Angel House or Corinth Baptist Church.
