He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Lee Mercer Gilmore and Robert William Gilmore; and his brothers, Mac Wayne Gilmore, Harold Dean Gilmore and Billy Ray Gilmore.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Goins Gilmore; his son Christopher "Chris" Gilmore (Robin) of Leland; his stepson Robert "Robbie" Williamson of Woodstock, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Addison Gilmore, Steven Williamson, Cole Williamson and Danie Williamson.
