He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Greely Fields, Sr. and Jewel Lassiter Fields; his siblings, Prudence Fields, Jimmy Lee Fields and Diantha Parnell; and his son-in-law Malcolm Leroy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Williamson Fields; his daughters, Karen Fields Brown of Evergreen and Stephanie Fields Hammond (Shayne) of Cerro Gordo; his grandchildren, Blair Duncan, Fielding Hammond, Bess H. Frankoff and Myles L. Brown; and his great grandchildren, Glennly Frankoff, Hammond Frankoff and Raylee Hammond. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
