He is survived by: his children, Nakoma S. Simmons and Wakita D. Spaulding (Cara) of Red Springs; his siblings, Rev. James Norman Spaulding (Meredia) of Lake Waccamaw, Monroe Spaulding of Bolton, Okie Allen Spaulding (Lisa) of Delco, Lula S. Hooks (Tommy) of Lake Waccamaw and Rebecca S. Templin (Charles) of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Brittany Schulman (Joseph), Ervin Simmons, Gina Simmons, Cintara Hundley (Ryan) and Malita Spaulding; and his great grandchildren, Corrina Schulman, Jerod Schulman and Maylee Hundley.
