She was predeceased by: her husband John Philip Strole; her parents, Foley M. Norman and Jessie A. Norman; and her siblings, Fredrick Norman, Kedron Norman, Una Keys and Olene Tharp.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Strole (Becky), Phyllis Breeden (David) and Rebecca Edwards (Bobby); her grandchildren, Christy Britt (Ben), Philip Strole (Mandy), Jonathan Breeden (Beth), Jessica Moran (Jon), Jeremy Edwards (Kelly), Joshua Edwards (Shamara), John Edwards (Jami) and James Edwards (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Evey, Vera Britt, Mary-Claire, JJ Moran, David, Molly Breeden, Henry, Maverick Strole, Kilby, Wyatt Edwards (Jeremy), Naomi, Elijah Edwards (Joshua), Forrest and Issac Edwards (James).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Chadbourn Baptist Church (504 N Howard St, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Strole Memorial Scholarship Fund (Chadbourn Baptist Church).
