He was predeceased by: his parents, George McColskey and Letha Williamson McColskey; and his brother Gene Thomas McColskey. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Nance McColskey; his children, Abby M. Rogers (Bill) of Evergreen and Timothy G. McColskey (Chrystal) of Evergreen; and his grandchildren, Jordan Rogers, Meredith McColskey, Samuel McColskey, Hunter Elks and Gavin Elks.
