He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Ruth Duncan Walker and George Walker, Sr.; his wife Magalene Russ Walker; and his siblings, Franklin "Boss" Walker, Annie Will Bowen, Lillie W. Boswell, David M. Walker, James Earl Walker, Barbara W Bass and Robert H. Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Walker Hayes (James) of Cerro Gordo, Rhonda Walker (Donald) and Greg Walker (Ellen) of Chadbourn; and his siblings, Bobbie Lou Cribb of Whiteville, Leon Walker and Roger Walker of Chadbourn. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren, 8 Great-great-grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing will be observed. The family strongly encourages all attendees to follow COVID-19 precautions.
