He is survived by: his stepmother Mary Long Davis Cheshire of Chadbourn; his siblings, Wilbur A. Cheshire (Marie) of Wilmington, Mavis Hall of Hope Mills and Rena Nobles of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his stepbrothers, Wilton I. Davis (Janice) of Nakina and R. V. Davis (Linda) of Orangeburg, Oregon..
