He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Cliff McKenzie (Lawrence); and his siblings, Harold Fipps (Glenda) of Chadbourn, Charles Fipps of Laurel Hill, Peggy Patterson of Lake Norman and Shelby Garrell (Floyd) of Chadbourn.
