She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Withers Watkins and Emma Zella Blackmon Watkins; her husband Bailey Wayne Britt; her granddaughter Michelle Griffin; and her siblings, SJ Watkins, Jeanette Watkins Strickland, Harold Watkins and Phyllis Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Wayne Britt (Linda) of Chadbourn and Gregory D. Britt (Michaela) of Townsend, TN; her grandchildren, Chelsea Britt, Brittany Britt, Chris Hammond (Julia) and Eric Laurent (Jean); her great grandchildren, Skylar, Ryleigh, Hope, Faith, Eli and Ella; her brother Sammy Watkins (Eloise) of Chadbourn; and her pet Fred.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
