She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Smith and Minnie C. Smith; her husband Rufus Guyton; her son Charles Guyton Jimmy Guyton; and her siblings, George Smith of Alton Smith, G. C, J. W. Smith, Dorothy Bowen and Maggie Hutto.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Guyton Woodard (Jimmy) of Chadbourn and Phillip Randy Guyton (Melissa) of Chadbourn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
