He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Frankie Coleman Green; and his siblings, Nancy Norris of Clarendon, Johnny Green, Hewitt Green, Mack Green, Cecil Green, Florence Strickland and Clempson Green.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Joan Nance Green; his son Richard Michael Green (Barbara) of Whiteville; and his siblings, Roger Wesley Green (Judy) of Wilmington, Betty G. Blackwell of Cerro Gordo, Polly G. Cribb of Wilmington and Peggy G. Sorrell of Cerro Gordo.
