He is survived by: his parents, L. C. Soles and Doris Haynes Soles of Chadbourn; his children, Shane Soles of Corpus Christy, TX, Tyler Soles of Whiteville and Blair Soles of Whiteville; his siblings, Shelia S. Willis of Greensboro and Michael "Mike" Soles of Greensboro; his nephews, Justin Willis and Randal Willis; and his niece Lenise Tristano.
