He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Batten Jr. (Angelique) of Chadbourn and Billie Jo Batten Locklear of Maxton; his siblings, Paul Daniel Batten of Chadbourn, Jerry Wayne Batten (Cheryl) of Hemmingway, SC and Weldon Batten (Ann) of Cerro Gordo; his grandchildren, Amber Nicole Hammond, Christian Leann Hammond (Wayne), Alexandra Kaye Batten, Dillon Ray Batten, Brady Dale Sibbett and Hope Sibbett; and his great grandchildren, Summer Leann Jackson and Hunter Gage Jackson.
