She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Godwin and Clyde Ophelia Ward Godwin; and her sister Barbara Ann Larrimore (Richard John Duncan). She is survived by: her children, Wendell Duncan (Jackie) of Chadbourn and Richelle Grigsby (Brandon) of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Luke, Madison, Ashdon and Lilly; and her sister Ila Pearl Shelley of Charleston, SC..
