It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene McRae of Chadbourn, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester McClelland and Iola Stanley McClelland; her husband Charles "Smitty" McRae; and her children, Donald Anthony Carter and Marsha Denise McClelland.
She is survived by: her grandson Shaun J. McClelland of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her nieces and nephews, Gwanetta Byant of Charlotte, Williette Sawyer of Charlotte, Willie McClelland of Charlotte, Allen McClelland of Stone Mountain and Michael McClelland of Statesville. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
