It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Gray Ward Nobles (Chadbourn, North Carolina), born in Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Ward and Ola Belle Ward; her husband Lenwood Eugene "Tink" Nobles; her daughter Paula Jean Gore; and her siblings, Billy Ray Ward, Jackie Day Ward and Frances Faye Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Eric F. Nobles of Chadbourn and Rhonda J. Holman (Brad) of Sanford; her stepchildren, Gregory "Kim" Nobles (Lisa) of Whiteville, Sharon Nobles of Tabor City and Belinda Myers (Gary) of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Zack Nobles, Ashley Woody, Chris Sealey, Ericah Gore, Alisha Fowler, Timothy Fowler, Buck Tyree, Will Tyree, Ashley Hobbs, Kimberly Nobles, Johnny Corbett, James Corbett, Joel Myers and Gavin Myers. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
