He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McPherson and Bessie McPherson; and his siblings, Lucy M. Monroe, Howard McPherson, Nellie M. Lee, David James McPherson (Betty Lou) of Clarendon and Betty Lou Lisk.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes M. McPherson; his sons, Dr. Danny D. McPherson (Diane) of Chadbourn, Frederick J. McPherson (Jeanne) of Chadbourn and Buddy D. McPherson (Morgan) of Tabor City; his brother Hoyt McPherson (Virgie) of Clarendon; his grandchildren, Cassie, Christine, Dannelle, Russell, Haley and Brody; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Keylin, Derek, Bryce, Kacy, Ella and Wyatt.
