He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Soles and Geneva Fowler Soles; and his sister Ila Pearl Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Lila Green Soles; his children, Alvin Soles (Monique) of Lake Waccamaw, Reggie Soles (Veronica) of Whiteville, Bryon Soles of Cerro Gordo and Holly Soles; his sister Barbara Todd of Chadbourn; and his grandchildren, Aaron Soles and Madisynn Soles.
