With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Dale Powell of Cerro Gordo, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie Thomas Powell; and his parents, Roscoe Ballard Powell and Willadene Roberts Powell. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Powell Smith (Kevin) of Chadbourn and Kimberly Powell Price (Eric) of Chadbourn; his sisters, Melinda P. Horton (Ronnie) of Rocky Point, Dottie Mizelle and Jeanette P. Johnson (Late-Joel) of Bethel; and his grandchildren, Ashton Price, Nicholas Powell, Jacob Smith, Georgianna Smith, Michael Price and Karmen Price. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
