We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 90, Mabel Jane Harrelson of Cerro Gordo, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Herman Purvis and Katie Magnolia Bullard Purvis; her husband Joseph "Joe" Junior Harrelson; and her sisters, Elaine Johnson and Mildred Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Keith Harrelson (Sue) of Cerro Gordo, Nathan Purvis Harrelson (Donna) of Aberdeen, Myra Kate Willis (Steve) of Prosperity, SC and Diedra Harrelson of Cerro Gordo; her grandchildren, William Joseph "Jody" Johnson (Jessica), Travis Johnson (Crystal), Nicholas Willis (Addy), Lindsey Williams (Dan), Joseph Austin Harrelson, Whitney Harrelson (Rich Dailey), Joseph Clint Harrelson (Brandy) and Paige Harrelson Savo (Rich); her siblings, Oleta Purvis Meares (Henry) of Cerro Gordo and Buddy Purvis (Beverly) of Riegelwood; and her brother-in-law Carroll Johnson of Riegelwood. She is also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren.
