We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2022, at the age of 95, Evelyn Hinson of Cerro Gordo, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Connie Hinson; her parents, Neil Montgomery Green and Rose Elizabeth Strickland; her siblings, Howard Green, Neil Green, Charles Green, Kate Strickland, Lee Strickland, Susie Green, Hazel Miller, Jewel Britt, Thelma Hayes of Albertine Hayes, W. J and Marshall D. Green; and her granddaughter Tonya Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Rudolph Hinson of Cerro Gordo, Peggy H. Wilson of Evergreen and Ernestine H. McLelland (Joel) of Cerro Gordo; her siblings, Shirley Hildelta of Wadesboro, Helen Fairfax of Cerro Gordo and Annie Parker of Clarendon; and her grandchildren, Dion Wilson (Cynthia), Donnie Wilson, Anthony McLelland, Jeremy McLelland (Tommie Lynn), Stephen Hinson (Miranda) and Connie Hinnant (Lynn). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
