She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Ralphford Kerns and Myrtle Hunt Kerns; and her siblings, Leroy Kerns, Jr., Glen Kerns and Daryll Kerns.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Nance; her daughters, Kristy Lynn Lowry and Chelsea Alexandria Green; her stepsons, Matthew Nance of Cerro Gordo and Brandon A. Nance (Paula) of Whiteville; her sisters, Lois K. Lowry (Waymouth) of Atlanta, Shirley K. Clein (Freddie), Linda K. Locklear (Redmond) of Pembroke and Tanuel K. Fissmer (Joe) of Ashburn, VA; and her grandchildren, Landri Strickland, Chloe Strickland, Rylee Buffkin, Regan Nance and Miller Nance.
